It is with a real sense of pride that we welcome you to The Prescot School. The Prescot School is an 11-16 comprehensive school with almost 850 students on roll, supported by exceptional teaching and support staff. We are committed to delivering true personalisation of learning and greater outcomes for all students. 

At The Prescot School we want to ensure that every child also has the opportunity to experience life beyond the classroom. We believe that a well-rounded and enjoyable education is much more than taught lessons and as such we make a guarantee that EVERY child that attends The Prescot School will have the opportunity to develop independence, experience different countries and beliefs, develop their leadership skills, make a positive contribution to their community, and help contribute to a sustainable environment. 

The school is quickly addressing challenges that have been faced, and the last set of published GCSE results (2019) reflect the very positive trajectory that we are on.  We are now seeking seeking a Head of School with the ambition and strength to make an impact; someone who will champion our students and who will be an inspirational leader for our staff.
